The Halmatic 30 is a superb long keel cruising yacht, ideally suited for short handed or family sailing. Unlike many boat of her era the Halmatic 30 has a good volume interior, giving extra comfort for spending longer periods aboard.
"Seriema" has been well looked after and majorly upgraded in her current ownership, including a new Beta 20 engine and all new sails (her owner is a well known local Sail Maker).
She represents great value for money and will take you anywhere.
Potted history
Designed for Halmatic by John Sharp, the Halmatic 30 was built from the late 1970s to the mid 1980s. About 200 were built in total.
They were designed as a smaller version of the Nicholson 31 and in very much the same style - a heavy displacement long-keeler with a high ballast ratio. They are strongly built and have an excellent reputation as a serious seagoing yacht.
The interior of these yachts also exhibit the same volume as the Nicholson 31, making them comfortable for longer stays aboard.
