Boat Description

The Hardy Family Pilot 20 is Hardy by name and hardy by nature. A competent sea boat for coastal cruising and ample accommodation for weekends away.

A large cockpit with a galley can be covered when the weather is poor and a separate main cabin with a double and single berth and a separate heads compartment.

"Pennyghael" is one of the nicest I have seen.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure

• Blue GRP hull with traditional Hardy rope fender
• White GRP superstructure and deck. Deck with textured non-slip
• Open backed wheelhouse with wooden mast and sun roof
• The deck is secured with a stainless steel wrap round pulpit with stanchion posts atop the raised bulwark, running a single guard wire back to the cockpit
• There are grab rails on the wheelhouse roof and entrance to the cockpit

Engine

• 75hp Honda 4-stroke outboard engine set into an engine bay

• 2 x 25L external fuel tanks. These have a dedicated storage area under the engine well
