The Dehler 34 is therefore a thoroughly good yacht! These yachts are stiff and able and will take you anywhere. Super easy to sail short handed with her self tacking headsail, she has a good turn of speed and a practical deck and interior layout.

6 berths including a double forward and double aft cabin. Good sized heads and galley and plenty of storage.

"Nimrod" has benefited from good ownership and continual upgrade.

Hull, deck & superstructure

• GRP monocoque hull with bonded structural floor grid. Light grey gelcoat with blue cove line and deck edge rub rail.
• The underwater hull has been antifouled with VC 17m Extra, copper based antifouling.
• GRP deck in light grey gelcoat with moulded toe rail and non slip deck panels.
• Varnished Teak cockpit seats with calking detail.
• Plywood structural bulkheads glassed to hull.
• As it typical with Dehler Yachts of this era, the interior furniture is set on raised GRP mouldings. This lends itself to lower maintenance and a contemporary feel. 
• LCG iron fin keel.
• Semi-balanced single rudder.
• The rudder was replaced by Ardfern Yachts in 2013. New bearings fitted in 2021 by New Horizon Boat Builders.

Deck & deck equipment

Stainless steel pulpit with fold down central boarding step/gate, quarter pushpits with guard wire gate and stanchion posts with twin guard wires secure an easily navigated deck and cockpit. The foredeck is nice and open with an anchor locker which the electric windlass feeds into directly. The cockpit has a large locker to starboard. The helm seat folds down to the bathing platform. There is a dedicated gas locker.
